hi Nannette&Larry,
I know its not a holiday season but i just want to thank you for this sight, and how prayerful and proctive you are to your members,although i am not yet a fully member i do appricate your protective method. the reason i have not yet join i am finding it a little struggling at the moment however in due time i will.i am realy exited about the site.may God bless and keep you both.

Good morning Nannette,
Thank you for your letter and reminding us of all the wonderful things your site does and offers to all of us. I enjoy your letters and learn a lot from them ..thankyou for taking the time to catch us up on what you are doing, your dreams for CSD and your needs.
I personally know of 5 couples who have met and married because of CSD. Okay, so far I'm not one of them, but that doesn't stop me, slow me down or discourage me. I've met some very nice people on here and am blessed for having met them. In God's time things happen.
May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, God's blessings be with you and your family.

I appreciate very much your mailing and I wish to thank you for your ministry. I have seen improvements and still more improvements and I agree that you are the only site that has these many benefits and does not take advantage of members and yes I have tried some other sites but
none can match yours. I would like to support your ministry & will send $50.

We appreciate so much those of you who have chosen to support our
website financially by becoming paid members. Thank you so much!
We realize many members are unable to financially support any dating
site, but many are. In selecting which Singles Dating Site you will
support with your membership fees, we’d like you to ask yourself a few
things:
1) Are you a Christian with strong Christian ethics and morals?
Then you should make sure you find your mate among other conservative
Christians with high standards.
2) Is the site you are supporting owned by Christians? Will
tithes and offerings be paid on the profits?
3) Does the site have a strong desire to help those in need? Are
their payment plans in effect to minister to those less fortunate? Do
they allow many free services?
4) Does the site surprise you with recurring billing? Do they
auto-charge your credit card each month without your knowledge?
5) Does the site attempt to protect you from scammers?
6) Does the site purge inactive members and allow members to
delete profiles? Do they attempt to prohibit duplicate members? Do
they display the joined date and last active date?
Recently, we’ve had major expenses with purchasing a generator, a new
web server, a new database server, spelling checker software, IP
Location database, remote backup storage, routers, firewalls, cables,
wiring, electrician fees and more. So much has been invested back into
the site to make it a better place for you to call home and we hope
and pray that you will see that and if you can afford to support a
dating site, we hope you’ll choose ours. Yes, we offer a lot of free
services in order to minister to those less fortunate, but we truly
need the support of those who do have the ability to make payment.
ChristianSinglesDating.com is a conservative, Christian-owned website.
We pay tithe and offerings on our income. We offer a financial
hardship plan and ruby plans to allow those less fortunate to use the
site. We have free chat, free search, free reading of mails, smiles
and more.
We NEVER auto-charge your credit card – this is against our Golden
Rule principles. You’ve heard of other comparable sites making
millions and spending millions in advertising – this is largely due to
this practice alone. We may look as good as the websites bringing in
millions, but truth is, our income is the same as our average member’s
income. Larry works as a Registered Nurse and I do programming for
other clients to supplement our income so that we can still offer free
services and hardship plans to those less fortunate.
We work very hard protecting our members from scammers, warning our
members, and educating them with the latest scams. We have an
automated scam tracking system, and those who get past that are
quickly reported by our members who have learned to detect the
scammers. We think we have a great system in place to protect our
members.
We attempt to keep a fresh, active database of members so you don’t
have to muddle through thousands of inactive profiles that will never
respond to you. Some sites require you pay money to send a mail, and
that mail never reaches the member because the email address is
inactive and the member hasn’t visited the site in years. Too many
sites want to report the large numbers so they don’t even allow you to
delete your own account.
In the last two months, we’ve added even more free services to our
free basic members. As a result, this has seemed to provide less
incentive for members to upgrade and has hurt us financially. We don’t
wish to take away these free services, but we have been told this by
several members: “Your site has so many free services, it’s great! I
pay my membership fee at these other sites because they don’t even
allow me to read my mails for free. Thanks for your free services!”
Ouch! That hurts. It’s through member financial support that we are
able to offer so many wonderful features to our members.
