i believe that understanding your partner is key because sometimes even the most sensitive words can do maximum damage when the person on the recieving end is especially sensitive about an issue or they dont deal very well with criticism, however tactful and productive.

I agree that you can 'disagree' without hurting someone. It must be done with grace (love) & truth. One without the other is judgment.
You could also consider 'acceptance' & 'forgiveness'. These nurture the relationship. Looking at someone's negatives, (we all have them) will only cause bitterness to take root.
May GOD bless your relationship with the presence of the Holy Spirit.
In CHRIST,
Tomie

  the future of you relationship!!
I do believe that is true...
Do you have to be right all the time even when your partner has been hurt by what you said or the way you say it?
Do you insult and humiliate some one when you are arguing?
My opinion is that many a marriage is destroyed by our behavior in a "fight".
If you can treat your partner (or any one alse for that matter) with respect and dignity on a "fight" you are a winner.
You can desagree with out humiliating some one...
what do you think about this?
