Hey Trent,
I can very much relate to your injury. I had an on-the-job injury while working as an EMT at our local Urgent Care which resulted in a C6-7 fusion. I have since had to have C5-6 worked on which has now fused naturally on its on.
Be positive about the PT and give it time. If that doesn't work, just know that they have made so many advances in disk surgery with fantastic results.
I will pray for you brother.
PS I fought wildland fires for one week. Got on top of the mountain and had altitude sickness something fierce. I understand the thrill of fire fighting.

Thank you for your prayers. I just learned this morning that I have a bulged disk between L5 and S1 that is affecting the nerves around L4 L5 and S1 and will be going through Physical therapy soon. If that does not work then surgery may be required. If the Lord has a different Plan for me then I am willing to accept it. May Gods will be done. Thank you again for your prayers! FiremanTrent
