I agree with the comment made on July 27, regarding listening to that innter voice the Holy Spirit, because that is why he is there.

I think you really need to follow that inner voice...it is I believe the Holy Spirit. May God give you the strength you need to follow that inner voice.

I won't tell you about my past, but Dr. Phil says: Crazy is doing the same thing and expecting different results.
I do have some written material from seminars and stuff that is pretty helpful (to me) and interesting, that I will/would send you by mail if you wish. It is about codependence. Live and learn, shall we? Let me know, O.K.?

Dear Friend,
Please, please listen to that inner voice! If he were lonely & just wanted a friend, he could have called on another man on the site. To lie to you, to change his alias are signs that this is his character & it probably will not stop once you get married. I did not listen to that inner voice 2 times before & was hurt emotionally & financially. I believe God gives us those feelings to protect us. Please listen & believe that God will send you another man to love which will far surpass this one. God Bless you!

I have been communicating with a man on this site for over two years. We have commited ourselves to be married. We spent the holidays together getting to know each other and finalizing our promise and commitment to each other. I am in the United States, and he is in another country. There have been many obstacles, but up until recently, none that I felt that we could not weather. Well, I just found out that he contacted several women on this site without my knowledge sending smiles and the promise of renewing his membership so that they could talk more.
He did renew his membership, changed his name, and put in his profile that he was available for any woman. He did this all without my knowledge while I am thinking that our plans remain the same. To say the least, I was hurt. If this was not enough, he also contacted people on another site and spoke of meeting with them. When I found this out and confronted him, he lied. He has sense admitted to it, and said that I should have a forgiving heart. My first husband started out like this and ended up with a life of adultery.
Please pray for me and with me. My better judgement tells me to run, and of course my heart has over two years invested in this man, and we were in the process of trying to get his paperwork (visa) to relocate to the US. Now with this information, my world has been rocked and turned upside down. For some reason, he says that he was just lonely because he is over there and I am over here, and he did not really mean to follow through with any of the contacts he made, and feels that I should do the "christian thing" and forgive and continue. He says that I am being too critcal. Am I missing something here?
