This is from an e-mail I recieved today. Bruising is still evident around his eyes. His breathing tube was changed to a tracheotomy. During the time that they changed it, Franz was able to take three breathes on his own. He is starting to get restless, which is an indication that his level of consciousness is better than it was. His neuro scale has moved up from a 4 to a 6 out of 15. 7 is considered really good. So although we are still measuring in babysteps, God is allowing him to show improvement. Franz's mother is very greatful for all the prayers that are being offered up on behalf of Franz and the family.
