Leaving Church After Wedding

Hello to all at Shining Star Singles Ministry,

My wife and I would like to thank you so much for the great work you are doing for single people. When I joined SSS I had no idea that I would be married within 8 months. I met many nice people on the website but when I met Leonora I knew she would be very special to me. Leonora and I met on January 27, 2002 after viewing her profile a few days before. It did not take long for us to realize God had something very special taking place with our friendship. We communicated with each other about six days a week by instant messaging for 2 or 3 hours each day, and occasionally on the phone for about two months or so. After about three months, we knew without a doubt the Lord Jesus brought us together for a purpose and we started making plans for our wedding. By the last week of May I was on my way to the Philippines for a nine week visit and honeymoon.

After our wedding, June 16, 2002, we moved into a 3 bedroom home we rented before my arrival to the Philippines. I had a wonderful time meeting family, friends and co-workers of Leonora. Leonora is far more than I could ever possible ask for or think to have in a wife, person, friend, and lover. She is the greatest earthly blessing I have ever had or could think to have. I’m not just saying this because I want to be nice but because it is true and I’m thankful for the wife the Lord has given me thru SSS. I’m not saying this because she is beautiful and great to behold but because she is a great and wonderful person to know and enjoy. She is so sweet, kind and loving and she touches my heart so deeply and fills my life with love, care and meaning. I of course gladly and thankfully return that love to her. Yes, I love my wife so much and I’m thankful God has thru you all given me the opportunity to know and love my wife and to grow with her in our Love for Jesus and each other as long as we shall live. Once again, thank you Nannette & Larry and all at Shining Star Singles Ministry.

May the Lord Jesus continue to bless you and your work at Shining Star Singles Ministry.
