I know personally of a couple people that have been online here that had almost given up, yet ended up meeting that special someone. You never know how things will work out.

After e-mailing several times, Honorina stopped, so I figured she had found someone else (you know how that goes). In reality she had decided I was too far (me in CA and her in MA) and was looking more local.

I am not one that allows minor things such as distance get in my way. Somehow we started writing again and after awhile the phone bill went skyrocketing.

We met and ended up having a double wedding – a civil one in Las Vegas (it helped resolve some legal issues) and the formal one at her church on 10/10/04.

I threatened to pick her up for the kiss in the church, but she said to be good, so I surprised with an acapella solo that only the pastor knew about. She was lovely as was the whole wedding. I did get the chance to pick her up and kiss her during the reception, and she didn’t mind it then.

No one asked me, but they had one of my favorite dishes – potato salad! Those that really know me know how unusual I can be, which is something she is working on, but we are having a great time together.
