Dear Nannette and Larry,

We are Engaged! We are praising the Lord for his goodness in bringing us together and for your service. Here is our love story.

It all started one night at the end of Oct of 2002. Randy was impressed to send out 12 smiles to 12 different women and I just happened to be in the group. The thing is that when he sent these out he prayed to the Lord that the right one would answer. I was the only one that did answer!

When I got the smile I wasn't expecting it and had given up on finding someone. You see I had been a member of SSS for almost 4 years. Sure I met a lot of nice single men and some strange ones too. When I received the smile I went to the site and looked at Randy's profile. But I didn't answer for two day's. In my mind I had a lot of reserves but the Lord's voice kept telling me that He wanted me to answer with a letter. So I prayed for words to say and wrote the letter. With that a friendship was formed that will change our lives forever.

Almost the next day Randy wrote back with a nice letter. And we started writing every day for a few weeks. Then I asked for his phone number and I called one evening and heard his smooth Southern voice for the first time. I think that I was hooked from then on and so was he.

We have done a lot of talking on the phone. Every night for the past 9 months. He has become my best friend. The bond that I have with God and him is I believe a strong force. Everyday I see more and more why God had me send that letter to him and why Randy is the perfect fit for me and me for him. Even when there have been times that I didn't think so but God has always lead and keeps working problems out for I believe His glory.

On July 24th, 2003 Randy flew here to meet me. We spent a wonderful 10 days camping and seeing sites around Northern CA Redwood Campmeeting area.
Northern CA Redwood Campmeeting will forever be a special place for Randy and I.

On Sabbath July 26th, 2003 Randy asked me for my hand in marriage in a forest of beautiful Redwood trees and ferns. And I said YES! We are planning a June 13th, 2004 wedding in Willits, CA.

Because I am still in college and will have to finish, Randy will be moving here to Ukiah, CA to start his Ministry in March of 2004. I look forward to marrying a lay/pastor. I feel that with my Child Development training and him being a lay/pastor that God has a wonderful and exciting adventure for us in the future.

We will keep you up dated in the future.
