Dear Nannette,

I see that my mom sent you pictures before I wrote our success story. I think she must be almost as happy as I am!

First of all, I think your site is wonderful. I have tried other on-line dating websites and just didn't find them as easy to use or as useful as CSD.

I didn't use the website too much when I first joined. But when my roommate found the guy she wanted to marry two weeks after she joined CSD, I thought maybe I should make better use of my membership! I wrote back to guys that I didn't think were really my type, and I made first contact with some guys. Sometimes they would write back, sometimes they wouldn't. Sometimes I wondered if there was really anyone out there just for me. I kind of suspected that there wasn't and thought that maybe I'd give up on internet dating altogether. But then I would tell myself that it only takes one and the right one may be just around the corner.

When I saw Steven's profile, a little thought ran through my head - "this might be that one." He sounded interesting - I really liked the way he wrote and the things he said in his profile. So I e-mailed him. He e-mailed me right back and we both loved each other's sense of humor. After many hours of talking on the phone, e-mailing every day, and visits back and forth, he did turn out to be the one.

I feel that God brought us to each other at exactly the right time for both of us. I had been on the website for a couple years - Steven had only been on a month or so. We are so compatible, we feel like God made us for each other - it just took your website to bring us together!

Our first e-mail was December 1, 2003, he asked me to marry him on August 6, 2004 and we were married on December 26, 2004.

My words of advice to other members would be, if you're becoming discouraged in your search, remember it only takes one!
